Product Shot 1 The Pros:Portability of mp3s on micro sd totally rock!

The Cons:Mp3 player navigation is inconsistent. Touch sensitive buttons are a PITA.

The LG KG800, also known as the Chocolate, is the predecessor to the KE800 phone and the European version of the VX8500. Marketed at launch as a high-end fashion phone, this handset's main attraction is its aesthetics, which LG describes as a 'minimalist design.

' The KG800 is targeted toward those looking for a fashion phone which is classy, conservative and relatively affordable. In keeping with the minimalist design, the screen is designed to be 'hidden' when turned off, so that it blends in with the rest of the case. Touch sensitive controls light up on the upper face when the phone is opened, but again are designed to be unseen when the phone is closed. The keypad features a checkerboard design to complement the glossy plastic body material.

WillTouchFire: #lg_chocolate_kg800 Plays music for hours in music only mode, touch buttons don't work that well, the skin from my leg through pants pocket activates touch buttons. Headphone adapter VERY difficult to keep a good connection, I use a small binder clip to keep the adapter connected. The size & quality of the phone is great, camera is decent. Can't wait for the next generation of this phone. Would like the time to be displayed on the mp3 player, wish I could change all of the display fonts, default font is difficult to read. Nov 2, 07
