The screens can be used separately or in conjunction with one another, governed by the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system to provide quick access to a user's favorite files and applications. A 1-gigahertz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor is included to help provide smooth, lag-free operation, with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera capable of capturing both high-quality stills and 720p HD video content. Available exclusively on the T-Mobile network, the DoublePlay incorporates the Google Mobile Services software suite with native support of YouTube, Google Maps, Google Talk, Gmail and more. Dedicated applications for the Android Marketplace and social networking services like Facebook and Twitter are also included.
