It ditches its predecessor’s 3G support in favor of tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, but hosts a smaller and more lightweight frame with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 2MP camera/camcorder with a self-portrait mirror, and a 2.4” touchscreen display. Although neat and unusual, the touchscreen can only be used to dial numbers off the virtual number pad; it is otherwise useless. Instead, LG has chosen to place a navigation array underneath the display, with which users can confirm (OK), clear (BACK), Send/Receive calls, and power on/off the device.
