The Nokia 5130 XpressMusic is a quad-band candybar handset designed to function as an mp3 player as well as a phone. Its music player supports numerous audio file formats, has dedicated music player and volume keys, and also includes an FM radio receiver and 3.5mm headphone port.

It includes Nokia Music Manager software and supports the Nokia Music Store downloader. The 5130 XpressMusic also includes a 2.0-megapixel digital camera with video capture and playback and landscape photo capabilities. It also includes numerous messaging options as well as Bluetooth v2.0. Its included internal memory is 1GB and can be expanded via microSD card slot up to 16GB for music or video storage.
