The Nokia 6300b is the North American release of the European Nokia 6300. Its features are identical to those of the 6300 except for the fact that the 6300b's receiver picks up 850/1800/1900 GSM frequencies as opposed to the 900/1800/1900 of the European version.

The 6300b also features a 16 million color screen, 2.0-megapixel digital camera, and mp3 player. It also has a stereo FM radio, Internet browsing, email and instant messaging, and Bluetooth connectivity. It supports downloadable polyphonic and mp3 ringtones, and has a microSD card slot to expand up to 2GB of memory. It is a mid-range handset.
