Samsung Glyde (SCH-u940)
$200.00
Released May, 2008
The Pros:Picture quality is very good, nice to carry family photos around in it. Easy to navigate the menus and access the functions, good for entry-level users. Streams videos from YouTube and other sources smoothly.
The Cons:Touchscreen is sometimes unresponsive, sometimes registers false touches. Prone to occasional lock-ups. Screen gets scratched up quickly if you don't get a 3rd party protector of some kind.
The Samsung Glyde (SCH-u940) is a mobile touchscreen slider released by Verizon Wireless Networks in May 2008 as a precursor to the September 2009 Samsung Rogue (U960). Featured on the SCH-u940 is CDMA connectivity, 3G data, and a 2.8” touchscreen display with a touch-based interface.
