Product Shot 1Samsung's S5050 is a forthcoming sliding handset, and will likely fall in the mid-range of Samsung's lineup. It has several features, but is not 3G-enabled. It is quad-band receptive on the 2G network, and one of its main features is a 2.2"-diagonal screen with AMOLED lighting.

The frame is black, though when slid out the keypad is colorful. The S5050 has a 3.15-megapixel digital camera with video capture capabilities and LED flash, mp3/mpeg4 player, and FM radio with broadcast recording. It also has a document viewer and organizer, and uses Bluetooth v2.1 wireless. Its 40MB internal memory can be expanded up to 8GB with a microSD card, and it gets long battery life with around 7.5 hours of talk time per charge.
