#samsung_sgh_a736 This is very capable phone that has proven to be quite durable.
However, it is the little things that either really impress or annoy you.
My favorite feature is something very basic. It is an alarm clock that allows you to set multiple alarms for each day of the week. I set two morning alarms for weekdays to make sure I get up and I set a later time for weekends so I can sleep in. Once this pattern is set, you never have to touch it.
Similarly, one of the most annoying features is the sound settings. For example, you have the ability to control the key pad sound. When in 'silent profile' mode you can set the keypad sound to mute. However, in 'Normal' profile mode you cannot silence the keypad sound.
The product is also heavily locked down. You cannot set MP3 ringtones. Apparently there is software on the Sony website that allows you to convert your mp3s to a DRM format which can then be used as a ringtone. I'm sure there are other ways around the various other locked items as well.
Overall though, I'm quite happy with the device for what it does.
