Sony Ericsson S500

$200.00 Released May, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Hardware is sleek and pleasing to the eye while its day/night, season-specific animated themes are also quite nice. Excellent battery life for a quad-band phone.

The Cons:Sliding the closed is a little awkward as it's likely you'll get finger smudges all over the display or hit a button by accident. Coloured sidelighting is "adjustable"... but only allows for adjusting incoming call colour (no contact-specific colour adjusting). Middle navigation button is surrounded by a raised frame, making menu navigation awkward.

The Sony Ericsson S500 is a mid-range sliding handset with quad-band 2G reception. It has two different release names, the European/North American S500i, and the Chinese s500c, both with identical features except for the S500c's Chinese character inputs.
