Sony Ericsson T700
$220.00
Released September, 2008
The Pros:Ear-piece and microphone sensitivity enables clear communication in a wide variety of environments. No-frills design results in a highly-portable unit - fits into front pockets without excessive bulk. Strong battery life - provides 10+ hours of consistent use on a single charge.
The Cons:Ultra-smooth siding is fairly slippery - greatly increased the likelihood of accidental dropping/damage. Prone to brief reception drop-outs before and after connections - may lead to multiple dropped/missed calls. Integrated stereo system is fairly sub-par - output quality is significantly lower than that of Sony's Walkman phone series.
The Sony Ericsson T700 is a mid-range candybar handset with 3G capabilities. It has a 2.0"-diagonal, 256k-color display and stylish metallic frame design. It also has a 3.15-megapixel digital camera with LED flash and video capture.
