Released October, 2009
The Pros:Perfect for teens who love to text-message and listen to music. Affordable price. QWERTY keyboard.

The Verizon Wireless Razzle is an ultra-affordable tilt-and-swivel mobile handset developed by Personal Communications Devices (PCD) and released through Verizon Wireless in October 2009. It features a full QWERTY keyboard for text-messaging and emailing, as well as a somewhat small 2.2” display.

The bottom keyboard can be twisted though, as the backside — which becomes the front — hosts a pair of speakers and music controls for sharing and/or listening to music. In fact, the Razzle is especially friendly to young music enthusiasts, as it includes an integrated music player for handling MP3/WMA formats; the ability to sync music from a PC; and V Cast Music with Rhapsody (subscription required). On the downside, the Wirelezz Razzle doesn’t support 3G; it instead relies on the slower 1X network instead.
Additional Information
The Verizon Wireless Razzle retails for $69.99 with a 2-year contract, although purchasing it online affords users an additional $50 discount for a grand-total of only $19.99. Additional notable features include a 1.3MP camera, GPS navigation with VZ Navigator, and Bluetooth connectivity.
